From January to April 2012, Chongqing's motorcycle production and sales were better than the national average

Since this year, China's motorcycle industry has faced problems such as rising costs, appreciation of the RMB and downturn in domestic and foreign markets, and the pressure on enterprise production and operation has further increased. Chongqing motorcycle enterprises actively responded by taking various measures such as tapping potential and increasing efficiency, opening up the market to ensure the realization of the annual production target, and achieved remarkable results. From January to April, the production and sales of motorcycles in Chongqing decreased by 3.3% and 2.3%, 7.6 and 8 percentage points lower than that of the whole country.
